MicroG High-Temperature Rheology Modifier

MicroG High-Temperature Rheology Modifier

MicroG High-Temperature Rheology Modifier

Product Description

MicroG is a polymer high-temperature rheology modifier obtained by emulsion polymerization of multifunctional monomers. It is easy to use in the system, and can effectively adjust rheology, stability, improve the ability of wellbore purification, flocculate and encapsulate drill cuttings, inhibit hydration and dispersion of shale, improve the ability of drilling fluid to resist temperature and invasion, and reduce the filtration loss of drilling fluid. While it can also improve the lubrication, and reduce the wearing resistance.

Applications /Functions

     •   Fast dissolution rate, high relative molecular weight and narrow distribution.

     •   Prevent the barite and other weighting materials settlement.

     •   Spherical polymer molecular structure, good salt resistance, low temperature resistance and high thermal stability.

     •   Thermal stability can be up to 220℃.

     •   Can be utilized in high temperature and high weight mud system.

Toxicity & Handling

     •   Bioassay information is available upon request.

     •   Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the safety datasheet.

Typical Properties

   Appearance:                                               Milky white liquid

   Specific Gravity(g/cm3):                                   1.00-1.06

   AV (mPa·s):                                                         4.0-28.0

   API fluid loss(ml):                                                  ≤30

Recommended Treatment

      •  For normal applications, add 2.0-6.0%.

      •  Since it is an emulsion polymerization product, there may be delamination. It is recommended to shake well before sampling in a pilot test, which will not affect the on-site application.

Packaging

     •   MicroG is packed in 55-gal (208-l) drums and in bulk

     •   Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.

     •   Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
