WITROL Fluid Loss Control Agent

Product Description

     WITROL is a macro-molecular polymer fluid loss reducer. Lower the filtercake by long-chain extension and particle plugging. Prevent shale swelling and stabilize well bore, to eliminate the risk of drilling practice.

•   Good compatibility with silicate-based fluid.

     • Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the safety datasheet.

       Note: Fresh water-based mud with addition of 20g/L, aged at 120 ^oC for 16 hours.

•   Apparent Viscosity:                           ≥12.0

•   Fluid Loss:                                          ≤20.0

        Note: 4% brine-based mud with addition of 35g/L, aged at 120 ^oC for 16 hours.

Recommended Treatment

•   For normal applications, add 1.0-3.0%.

Packaging

     • WITROL is packaged in 50-lb or 55-lb (22.7-kg or 25-kg), multi-wall, paper sacks.

     • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.

     • Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
