Product Description
GLYCOL polyol-based anti-collapse inhibitor is a non-fluorescent, environmentally friendly additive that significantly improves the thermal stability of drilling fluids. When the environmental temperature exceeds the cloud point temperature, the product forms a liquid particulate emulsion, which participates in mud cake formation, sealing the mud cake filter loss channels, reducing system filtrate loss, stabilizing wellbore, and enhancing anti-collapse performance excellently. Additionally, its surfactant properties contribute to significantly improving the high-temperature stability of drilling fluids.
Applications /Functions
• Reducing drilling fluid filtrate loss, stabilizing wellbore, and decreasing frictional resistance.
• Lowering oil-water interfacial tension, preventing water blockage, facilitating oil and gas return flow, and providing protective effects for oil and gas reservoirs.
• The LC50 of a 5% aqueous solution is not less than 30000ppm, and it remains fluid at temperatures below -20 oC.
• Thermal Stability is up to 200 oC.
• Can be utilized in WBM, water-based completion fluid.

• Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the safety datasheet.

• Reduction Rate of Lubrication Coefficient (%): ≥50
• Anti-swelling rate (%): ≥80
Recommended Treatment
• For normal applications, add 2.0-3.0%.
• For higher ROP and depletion, the addition can be adjust to 4.0-5.0%.
Packaging
• GLYCOL is packed in 55-gal (208-l) drums and in bulk
• Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.
• Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
