n  Technical Introduction

    CleanDRIL OBM is specifically engineered for extended-reach wells or long horizontal wells, offering ultra-low viscosity rheological control and exceptional emulsion stability. It effectively minimizes the formation of cuttings beds, ensuring optimal wellbore cleanliness. The lubricating properties of CleanDRIL OBM meet the stringent requirements for friction and drag reduction in extended-reach or long horizontal wells. Additionally, it stabilizes shale wellbores at a molecular level through micro-plugging, while also preventing corrosion of rotary guide tools during orienting work.

    Key treatment agents include the main emulsifier JHEMUL, auxiliary emulsifier JHCOAT, wetting agent HiWET, thixotropic agent RheVIS, fluid loss control agent JHFLO, and formation sealant MicroCAP.

n  Technical Features

   ( 1 ) The temperature resistance exceeds 150 ℃, and the density can reach more than 2.30 g / cm³ ;

   ( 2 ) Ultra - Low Viscosity control, plastic viscosity (PV) ≤ 4 5 mPa .s (2.30 g / cm ³ );

   ( 3 ) Excellent lubricity, Extreme Pressure Friction Coefficient (CF) ≤ 0.08 ;

   ( 4 ) High emulsification stability, Emulsion Stability (ES) ≥ 800 V ;

   ( 5 ) Strong bridging and plugging performance, high-temperature and high-pressure filtration loss (FL HTHP)≤3.0 ml (about 0.1 oz);

   ( 6 ) The damage to the reservoir is small, and the permeability recovery rate is ≥85 % ;

   ( 7 ) Regularly replenishing glue maintenance, simple and convenient, stable performance, compatible with water-based plugging materials;

   ( 8 ) Good compatibility: compatible with diesel based and mineral oil based;

n  Field Application

    CleanDRIL OBM has been successfully deployed in over 1,000 wells across major oil and gas fields operated by Sinopec and CNOOC, delivering superior results. Notably, it enabled a Sinopec well to set a record horizontal section length of 3,583m (approximately 2.23 miles) in domestic shale gas wells. In extended-reach horizontal wells operated by CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, CleanDRIL OBM facilitated a maximum horizontal displacement of 5,600m (approximately 3.48 miles).
