TempTHIN High-Temperature Thinner

Product Description

      TempTHIN is a diluent obtained from natural tannin extract as raw material and modified by a non-sulfonated process, which greatly improves the temperature resistance on the basis of retaining its dilution and viscosity reduction effect, and at the same time avoids the sulfonation process. It is especially suitable for complex wells with high temperature and high-pressure deep wells in areas with strict environmental protection regulations.

Applications /Functions

      •   Release the free water bound in the clay agglomeration structure and reduce the internal friction resistance.

      •   Stabilize the wellbore by dispersing the swelling clay and forming a firm and flexible file on the wellbore.     

      •   Thermal Stability is up to 220^oC.

      •   Environmentally friendly.

      •   Can be utilized in high weighted WBM.

      •   Bioassay information is available upon request.

      •   Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the safety datasheet.

Recommended Treatment

•   For normal applications, add 0.5-2.0%.

•   A pilot test will be mandatory, before any field treatment.

Packaging

      •  TempTHIN is packaged in 50-lb or 55-lb (22.7-kg or 25-kg), multi-wall, paper sacks.

      •  Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.

      •  Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
