n  Technical Introduction

    SupDRIL Oil-Based Drilling and Completion Fluid is specifically engineered for drilling and completion operations in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. It ensures the long-term suspension stability of barite through excellent high-temperature emulsion stability and rheological stability, thus averting issues such as loss caused by local subsidence of the well completion string or premature setting of the completion string under such conditions.

    Key treatment agents include the main emulsifier SupEMUL, auxiliary emulsifier HiCOAT, wetting agent HiWET, thixotropic agent RheVIS, and fluid loss control agent HiFLO.

n  Technical Features

( 1 ) Good Compatibility: Compatible with diesel base and white oil base.

( 2 ) Effective Rheological Control: While ensuring system stability, the viscosity and shear of the system are minimized to facilitate efficient pumping circulation of drilling fluid in small wells.

( 3 ) Excellent Static Stability: The drilling fluid demonstrates good fluidity even under demanding conditions, maintaining stability when subjected to indoor experimental simulation at 180℃ for 15 days, with minimal or no settlement at the bottom, meeting site requirements.

( 4 ) On-Site Operability: Can be easily modified based on previous sections of oil-based drilling fluid, significantly reducing the need for on-site 

n  Field Application

    The system has been successfully deployed in over 10 wells in Kuqa Shanqian Well in Tarim. Despite bottom temperatures reaching up to 180℃ and standing times of up to 15 days, the completion string encounters no notable resistance. Upon reaching the bottom of the well, pump activation yields pressures of less than 5MPa, ensuring smooth operations.
